These speeches were transcribed and translated that served as the bases of the study. The current research involved ten campaign speeches of selected Filipino women politicians.
Moreover, this study elaborated and focused on the outline of speech, women speech styles, and transitivity processes. This study investigated how Filipino women politicians, within the 2010-2016 campaign periods, constructed their campaign speeches in order to gain public support by looking into the speeches’ structure and meaning making.
